09:54 pm - Right...
I'm sure that some of you have noticed already, but this journal in recent months has been going more and more "Friends Only." Because of that, if you want to see what drivel I'm writing, or what nonsense video I'm posting, or the fastest job denial EVER, or even what video game I'm spoofing next, you'll have to get me to friend you in order for you to see it.
Usually that's done by posting a comment.
I also accept bribes, in case anyone was wondering.

Supernatural never fails to deliver a good cliff-hanger season end.

03:37 pm - Oh yes.
If you haven't seen the new episode of Doctor Who yet, watch it. It was the best episode that I've seen in quite a while. And the end? Brilliant.

11:59 pm - Eddie Izzard
Eddie Izzard was all sorts of awesome. Once more he has proven why I find him so funny. His entire bits of God talking to Jesus (and really, anyone) was, in the words of Homer, sacrilicious.

Yeah. I've just spent the past couple hours playing this. Wow, it can eat up your time.

Big project = Complete!
Weekend is now free! Brad happy! Now to figure out plans.
To grade or to goof off, that is the question.
Edit: Huzzah! Plans!

1. Leave a comment-- 'hit me' or 'Ooh ooh me!' will work.
2. I will respond by asking you five personal questions so I can get to know you better.
3. Update your LJ with the answers to the questions.
4. Include this explanation and offer to ask someone else in your own post.
5. When others respond with a comment, you will ask them five questions.
Just don't be surprised if the questions border on the bizarre if I've known you for a while.
( The questions begin...Collapse )

You scored 60% Kirkness, 45% Picardibility, and 32% Janewayosity!
The percentages shown show how much you are like each of the three Star Trek captains. Your highest percentage is which captain you are, at heart.
Kirk- You are bold, you are manly, wild, you've never met an alien you wouldn't kiss. Love 'em and leave 'em- that's your policy, like an old sailor, with a woman at every port. Rules can be bent, as long as you stay in the spotlight. You answers are quick and decisive and highlight YOU! Unfortunately, that won't help you next time your standing in front of the traffic cop for your seventh speeding ticket. Just tell the judge- "at warp, no one can hear you scream."
Janeway- It may be a man's world, but sometimes a woman's got to do it. Your descisions tend to be based more on your rulebook and your moral compass than the opinions of those around you. You're good at using the best you've got at hand- even if that means using the Borg to save yourself. One flaw- you tend to blame yourself and brood more than others. So next time you find yourelf "contemplating your situation", take that cup of coffee to the mess hall and flirt with the tattoted man, for once.
Picard- You are no slave to fashion! No slave to personal appearance, a determined consensus builder, taking in everyone's opinion. Bold, yet forgiving, in complete command of your emotions, your intellect. Unfortunately, underneath it all, you're a wuss in polynet pants. Your narsican mechanical heart prevents you from real relationships.
Yeah, any surprises there? I wasn't expecting Janeway to be up so damn high. Or for the results to add up to over 100% either. I guess that means that I'm just superubercaptining material there.

11:36 pm - Wow.
I've had a great weekend so far. I got to karaoke on Thursday with an unexpected colleague. Friday, I finished up my work early, had lunch with my favorite professor, and ended up having a blast over at the girls' place that night.
And today? Not only was I introduced to a new show, I've been introduced to a new place in Indy. Comedy Sportz. Holy crap, did I have fun. Of course, part of that reason? I got to go up on stage. And most of you know that I'm known as a chutzpah monster on stage. As a volunteer, I actually won a free pass to come back for me and two other people.
I now want to work there. Badly. Improv is difficult stuff, but I enjoy it so dang much. And the people there would be awesome to improv with, as improv can only be really good when you have good people to work with.
I'd suck at the rhyming games though. I've never been good with that.
EDIT: I had to change Friday to Thursday and Saturday to Friday. This is what happens when I post at 11:30 at night after having a couple nights with little sleep. ;)
